Do you feel more comfortable attending events virtually, or in-person?

I can't vote. As a lifelong loner, I'll willingly do in-person family functions, but if it's something health or hobby related I'd rather do virtual.

Good afternoon. It's great to hear you prefer virtual events. MSAA holds virtual events that we would love for you to attend! Check them out here: support.mymsaa.org/site/Pag...

I should have phrased that better. I don't really want to interact with the public, period, so I intentionally don't have a camera thingy on my computer. I'll limit my social interaction to sites like this or YouTube videos that I can watch at my leisure.

I'm not voting either. I live in a rural region with poor connectivity for virtual events. ON and age have affected my eyesight making it unwise to drive at night when most events are held. I live alone and know few people who share my interests. I volunteer 3 mornings a week at the nearest school which fills my human need for interaction.

poor connectivity in my response means: occasional inability to get a signal, occasional freezing, difficulty with audio making for a frustrating time wasting experience. Why waste energy on something beyond control? I have plenty of other interests!

Oh, I see what you mean. Yes, energy is precious. Great to hear you can spend energy on other interests you enjoy! :)

i hate attending events these days, in person or by video conference. can't see properly. what's the point?

I really don't like virtual events at all, but since COVID and being on immuno- suppressant drugs, don't really feel I have a choice

I don't have a camera for my computer so I can't do virtual & I don't like crowds of people as my vision scrambles when I get excited. I choose to stay home except for family events & some of them I don't get to when there are too many people.

I learn much more when I go in person to events. The feedback and conversation generated by numerous people helps to stimulate my thought process and helps me to ask questions and dig deeper than I would if I did it virtually. I'm also a people person and do well in crowds and enjoy learning In a group setting. Fancy59.
