We all need to keep a balance between doing what is best for ourselves and what we try to do for others, keeping in mind that if we wear ourselves out, we're no good for anyone.

I agree..4fishylady. I have to get better with self care. I have been taking care of others all my life and recently being diagnosed you would think I would slow down...Not, but I'm learning.. I believe it played a big part in my recent fall. I have no one to blame, but self.. Thank you for the words of encouragement😊

I have learned that when I keep on pushing to do things beyond what I should do, I pay for it in weakness. When I begin to feel my strength lessening, if I lie down for 30 minutes, I can get back up and go at it again. But, if I keep on pushing instead of resting, it's gone for the day. Someone said that we should think of our day's energy like a checkbook and money. When we spend it all, it's gone! I've known for a long time that if I tackle a big, tiring job early in the day, I don't have much left for the rest of the day, and if you add in the heat in the summer, well, just forget doing anything else that day! It's all over!

You are so right😊 I am also learning my limits. How much I can do in one day. I can honestly say, I dont have alot of acceptance with it yet. I'm so used to doing more and ripping and running. I cant even do 2 stores. I am wiped out. Thank you for the tip of a 30 minute resting period. My doctor told me I should take naps. Thata hard when your homeschooling a 10 year old with alot of energy!

me too! I've started reading a lot of Richard Paul Evans books since they are usually around 200 pages and I can read them quickly.

I love to walk since it helps me relax and get rid of some of my stress. I've gotten back to reading again...it was the one thing I missed the most.

I love walking, however, I find it so difficult to find the warning signs when reaching the point of exhaustion - the endorphins kick in, I am hooked and then just end up knocked out for a few hours! ☺
