Yes! my knees and hips are often massively inflamed and achey during a flare up; it's one of my most debilitating symptoms actually - it frequently limits my movement and activity levels... as does the general fatigue caused by my immune system being wiped out all the time.

Oh my Gosh!!! Thank you so much! I know I'm not crazy. All the "Doctor's" try to tell that one doen't have anythig to do with the other. And your right about the fatigue!!My knees, hips , back and my fingers (I can barely close my hands) hurt so badly until it ruptures and then my body starts to return to normal...whatever that is! I am so excited that someone else truly knows! I worked at the same job for 19 years, they understood that something was wrong with me considering all of the surgeries. Well they were brought out by a company that wasn't so understanding or tolerant of my tardiness or absences...I guess you know how it ends. Nonetheless, this site has made me feel almost as good as the day I diagnosed. I hope all is well with you and wish you the very best on those bad days.

Yes. But my physiotherapist does not believe me. It is a condition of hs caused by septic arthritis - Spot
