Hi

My Hubby had lichen sclerosis and he let it get so bad that he couldn't urinate due to everything closing up and blocking the flow he was circumcised and straight after was given dilators to open up the urethra it took about 6 months to get back to normal but since then he has not had any more problems and this was all 7 years ago. His surgeon at the time said he had never seen lichen sclerosis get so bad and commented on the fact that he couldn't even see any way for him to urinate as he had to use a scalpel to cut a hole through.

Sorry if this is making you cringe but trust me after the initial discomfort my Hubby had which he said was no worse than the pain and discomfort he had before it was well worth the effort.

Hope this puts your mind at rest.
