This may sound too simple and you have possibly heard or tried it before, but if it is eczema (which it does sound like to me based on my personal experience with it), please try your absolute hardest to leave the skin alone as much as possible!!! Eczema is different from regular dry skin and exfoliating the 'dead skin' off actually can make the symptoms worse and last much longer. As for the tight and dry feeling that is accompanied, natural is usually the best way to go when possible. If you haven't already, try coconut oil inbetween uses of a moisturizer, (preferrably one that is oil free, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and paraben-free).

It does sound like eczema and the cornerstone of treatment is emollient use. You might be able to get small samples of different types from a dermatologist so that you find one you prefer.

Cheers got some samples on the way

I don't know an awful lot about mens skin problems regarding hormones but I can give you a few suggestions

first buy some evening primrose oil capsules 1000mg and take 2 a day

Flaxseed oil is amazing for skin buy some organic cold pressed and have 2 teaspoons every day

Fish oil capsules 1000mg will help I take 3 a day

Lastly - I could go on but only have time to get these suggestions down - I know it is expensive but the best ever cream for dry skin is Lancomes Nutrix you should buy some it saved my skin when nothing else could
