Painful spot on scalp snd hair loss

Hi I can't see my gp for two weeks. I've been suffering from a sore scalp and hair thinning and loss my gp has brushed it off. However I have a red mark on my scalp with a lot of hair loss around it. It's really tender to touch to the point it makes my head hurt. I was wondering if anyone has come across this?

I have this same problem. Idk what it could be bc i rarely put my hair in a tight ponytail.
