Distraction and activity increase

I’m getting a new addition to the family as of 12th February.

I’ve named her Juno

I’m hoping very much that she proves to be the company and distraction I need to help me cope.

I’m looking forward to caring for my furry, 4 footed, energetic couch potato!

She’s precious! I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 17 years ago. My doctor actually recommended that I get a puppy. So I did! She’s now 10 yo, , Pomeranian and her name is Gracie. I love that dog more than I love most people. Lol. Yes, Gracie is actually registered as an Emotional Support Animal. I’m sure your puppy will be good for you. Dogs catch on fast to your mood, pain level etc. Definitely man’s best friend

Sorry all, forgot to mention she’s a whippet cross lurcher pup.

Hence - energetic couch potato!

Mum is whippet cross and stands 47 cm (floor to ear); dad is greyhound cross and stands 70 cm! I hope she more ‘mum’ sized

😂

She's gorgeous. We've had both a greyhound, large version, who weighed in at around 38 kilos if my memory serves me correctly and a greyhound cross lurcher, both were wonderful dogs. If the greyhound is the dominant factor in Juno she'll be very happy occupying the settee for most of the day!!! Have fun and enjoy. 🐕‍🦺

Pupdate

Not only did I adopt Juno, we also came back with her brother. He’s named Gordy!

Both now aged 13 weeks, have had their 2nd vaccination and waiting for the 3rd. Then lead training will begin in earnest.
