I was diagnosed by a Rheumatologist with fibromyalgia as it is a diagnosis of exclusion. They rule out rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and other inflammatory conditions and are then left with Fibromyalgia. The current research is close to finding medical markers for the condition and then, hopefully they will have a test to confirm a diagnosis.

As far as I’m aware a neurologist deals with ms and other neurological issues.

Sorry I can help more. Good luck

Thanks for the replyI thought the rhumatologist would deal with my condition but he said that he believes i have fibromyalgia but the neurologist will diagnose it. Got the feeiing he knows about the condition but not enough. See what the mri shows i suppose.

Thanks again
