Wondering about Fibro and Fatigue

Hello Yracy,

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2007.

I have done quite a bit of research on symptoms, treatments etc. And in my readings one of the symptoms mentioned is always fatigue. But there are many people who have Fibromyalgia and also have been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue.

Perhaps you’re wondering if you are suffering from fatigue or actually chronic fatigue. I recently have felt so fatigued I cannot at times keep my eyes open. I was going to make an appointment with my Primary Care Physician and see if he could tell me if I actually have chronic fatigue. I believe it’s important for treatment purposes for one’s doctors to know which one their patient is suffering from. I hope this information helps!

I had first been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome then on to Fibromyalgia then on to MS...

Years ago my Primary Doctor, who also was diagnosed with Fibro, was fantastic! The one I have right now leaves a lot to he desired as I continue to search for a PCP that will actually read my charts, or even hear what I am saying! It's a mission made even tougher with the Coronavirus upon us! Wishing you luck as you stay strong and blessed 🥴

Sorry to hear about your illnesses, not easy! I hope you find a great PCP soon. I’m lucky that I have a great PCP and pain management doctor but I looked for a good, empathetic pain management doctor for awhile and I drive one hour and fifteen minutes once a month to see him but he’s worth it, I never feel rushed and he really listens to me. I will pray that you find a PCP that is kind, empathetic, listens well and one you don’t have to drive a long distance to see!! Have a nice rest of your weekend.
