Memory loss and lack of focus.

I've had fibromaigia since I was 20. I'm now 46 and not only are the pain, stiffness, and fatigue bad- but my memory is so bad and my focus/ concentration are pretty much non existent.

This is affecting my life in a negative way. Tonight my much younger husband surprised me with box seats to a concert. I was so excited. I got ready, but I couldn't find my ID. I got frustrated and so upset.

I couldn't find it anywhere and ended up yelling at him, and not going. Now I am so stiff and sore. My place is a disaster. I told him to leave and go without me.

I used to be so patent and kind, but lately I get so stressed out so fast . I can't find anything. I can't get anything done ever because I can't concentrate.

I don't have a family doctor, and

a loss as to what to do.

Been there & know how badly you feel for RAGING at hubby : ( Hope he understood frustrated at Fibro NOT him! I refer to it as body & brain Betrayal!! Try not beat self up & next time breathe B4 exploding on him.

Hi I too have problems with my memory. But I think it's because of all the pain we are in and the fact that we are in a constant battle of trying to keep ourself as healthy as possible. It were us down and make our memory shorter then ever before. My dream sujested I keep a journal and post it notes everywhere to help out. Yes I do this and it helps a lot . It takes off the frustration of forgetting away. I hope this helps.
