There is a lot of information at the site above and also a discussion about the drug. Some of the discussion goes back to 2008, but some of it is newer.

Are you being treated for osteoporosis as your only disease?

Hello - I suggest you check with your Doctor and discuss all possible side affect.

But at the end of the day if taking these drugs help...well...

I am on nasty steroides having been diagnosed with Polymaialgia. They do relieve the pain but I take ginger, magnesium, etc to counterbalane the side affects. Good luck and do keep asking questions. It's your body and it will help you feel more in control!

Sorry have no knowledge of it, hope you find info and that all goes well.

Hello Waterford, so sorry for my late reply. But I have some news about this drug as my mother took it for 10 years. Today unfortunately she suffers from very painful gums and all her teeth are loose and so eating isn't enjoyable anymore. She is 72 years old. But she has fallen several times and and can tell you she hasn't broken a bone yet! All the best
