Scredtodeath- I know what you mean about having pain. But I am always reminded by my Neurologist that if I had a brain tumornI would have a lot of symptoms like weakness in my hands, double vision, speech impaired... many more and since we don't have these we most likely do not ( of course I am not a doctor, I just have the same worries all the time).

Have you tried some of these things? Oxygen? Almonds? Cold or hot showers? Ice on your neck? just a few ideas that I have recently found help a lot. Remember eat and dont skil meals, drink lots on water and get good rest.

Hope some of this helps..

Weakness in the hands, double vision, problems with speech ... and indeed many more symptoms are also symptoms which go with various forms of migraine, sometimes part of what is called the aura. They are all -and many more- certainly associated with hemiplegic migraine. In other words, I'm surprised that your neurologist assiciates them exclusively with brain tumor. Scatedtodeath, you really need proper reassurance which you can only get if things are excluded on the basis of proper tests. Do go and see your doctor. Don't be scared, Scsredtodeath. It'll be better than this guessing and hoping and stressing. Bon courage.

I have chronic migraines, the longest running migraine I have had was 6 weeks. But of course I have migraines over 50% of the time anyway. I completely agree with Gypsi you need to go to the doctor and get some help. Not going is not going to help either way and going could help in many ways. Stress isn't good for migraines and the stress of not knowing may well be prolonging your agony. Brain Tumours are relatively rare, migraines are extremely common, even seemingly endless ones.

Hi

I have a close family member with a terminal brain tumour at the moment and the symptoms are a lot different to what you probably think. When the tumour gets to a fair size you would become really tired, so tired you can not get out of bed. You will have terrible migraine pain that’s continuous from the swelling on the brain pushing against the skull, you would be very confused too. You may also have seizures, sickness, pass out etc. A doc knows what to look out for.

Try to keep calm because stress is a major cause of constant headaches. Also cut out caffeine, chocolate and msg, have a constant sleep pattern and hopefully you will feel better x

IF there is anything seriously wrong, by delaying medical help can only be detrimental to you. So please find the courage, take someone in with you for support.

On the up side if you like, have you or may you have arthritis in your back or neck or other problems similar because that would most definitely cause those problems.

Good luck be brave lynnx
