Is it true that men don't talk about their health? Why not?
Please select one:
I would argue that traditional male stereotypes have shifted greatly over the past generation and will continue to do so. The view of men as silent and stoic has moved as evidenced by mainstream media. There are ongoing challenges with how the system views men in general, I believe, and there is an ongoing challenge with how men demonstrate poor health, particularly poor mental health, through violence, over use of self-medication and other non-constructive coping mechanisms.
What do others think?
I do with the right people but it's not easy sometimes. I'm of the generation where men were supposed to deal with anything and not talk about things. I can bottle things up until I get depressed and angry.
Men are supposed to be strong
I didn't agree with you, Because now every male are much open minded and they will discuss all their problem which relates to it health. Some of us hesitate to discuss their health related problems but mostly don't think that.
