I am 73 and have been healthy until a month ago I suddenly found myself suddenly unable to communicate verbally.

I could only talk in mono syllables not being able to express what I wanted to say

Went to the ER where it was first suspected I had a stroke. I was admitted to the hospital, and the next morning I could speak normally again. After many tests including blood, CTs, EEGs and several MRI's it was found that I had a meningeal enhancement and cancer was suspected. A spinal fluid tap ruled out cancer and bacterial meningitis and the the neurologist and infectious specialists doctors concluded it was viral meningitis

I am scheduled for a follow up MRI at the end of April. Has anyone had a similar strange experience
