yes they are the worst, although flickering ones are not the best either
Totally
Lights weird brighter
Yes, store lites really affect me, cause anxiety, & blurring of vision. pink tint sunglasses helped the most, brown sunglasses next. I prefer stores without bright lighting, and have replaced household with soft lights.
Take care Sonnerkay
Pink lenses make sense, at least for me, because artificial light casts a ghastly green or yellow hue on everything. Thanks for the tip!
Oh yes, it's called Phototopia. I tolerate the fluorescent lights but bright lights, flashing causes confusion in my brain. Sunglasses help to tolerate them.
All artificial lights seem weird to me, Sunny. Direct sun, too. I was photosensitive before meningitis; now I'm photophobic. Colors are wrong and the light stabs.
3 months out from bacterial meningitis and my photosensitivity is slightly better. Florescent overhead lights and bright sunshine are the worst. Sunglasses and a brimmed hat help. If I don't protect my eyes I get a headache. I have prescription sunglasses that are Polaroid. No doctor can tell me how long this could last.
