Protect Our PIP – email your MP today 📧

The Government wants to change the rules for Personal Independence Payment (PIP).

These changes could mean some people with a learning disability might lose their PIP – even if they rely on it every single day, for example to safely cook a meal using an oven, help getting into the bath, and travelling around. PIP isn’t a luxury – it’s how people live safely and independently.

Mencap has created an ‘email your MP’ action to make it easy to urge your MP to speak up for people with a learning disability ahead of debates in parliament.

If you are worried, please remember that nothing is changing until next year at the earliest, and not everyone with a learning disability will be affected.

If you or a loved one are worried you can find out more on our website: mencap.org.uk/get-involved/...
