a LD psychologist wrote I’m articulate but lack comprehension

and being articulate masked my LD. what does this mean?

Being articulate means you express yourself well. It looks like the psychologist thinks that because you can speak well, it makes it harder for people to understand your learning needs, because you probably sound as if you don't have any learning needs.

Yes I agree that articulate means that you speak very well but you might find some things difficult to understand. If you need to ask for more help from anyone like a social worker or support worker you could show them the report to help them to understand why you need help.

It is good that the psychologist has clearly said that because you are "articulate" this hides your learning disabilities. He / she has confirmed you have learning disabilities so you should receive extra support. Please do write on this platform again if you need further help. Good luck and best wishes
