Hi you can complete the deputyship yourself on the government website going through a solicitors is mega expensive you need to apply for both at the same time. There is a behaviour support team Worthing the mental health service that should support with this. If you can afford to pay for an independent social worker then I know someone that could help you. Just let me know or find one in your local area.
