Can my 20 Yr old get free or cheap retainers. She's in college and broke hers. Dentist asking for £140 for new bottom retainer which is all her weeks money

Is she on ESA if so she should be fine or any other benefit that includes free dental treatment eye tests etc etc my disabled son is seen by the hospital dentist due to his needs and that’s free

According to my dentist because its orthodontal she has to pay but that seems unreasonable so wondered if anyone had got this done on nhs?

Is your daughter under 18 ? Check out the nhs website as I found lots of information on there. Ask the question and it will take you to the information you need

I thought full time students got free dental . Does she receive non contributory esa? Failing getting benefits Have u tried superglue i know somone who broke a lower denture a year ago and couldnt get appointment. Its still going strong. Obviosly depends on the material but if its unusable and ready to be binned u lose nothing trying or find a dental technician company and see if they can help. Might be cheaper than dentist.
