Bed wetting or night time wetting is identified as affecting half a million children across the UK.
Bedwetting can impact a child’s self esteem, confidence, wellbeing, school and social performance, daytime functioning, and can result in children appearing with drawn or anxious.
As we approach World Bedwetting Day: 25th May 2021, I will be providing the “FOUR” key steps over the next few weeks, confirming “HOW” to overcome night time wetting, and enable your individual child to progress!
The most important thing to remember is it is “not” your child’s fault!
STEP 1: DRINKING
🌟Your child or the child you are supporting to be encouraged to drink “6-8” drinks each and every day
🌟 Drinks need to be consumed across the whole day
🌟 Promote clear fluids, water, or drinks containing water
🌟 The last drink to be consumed an hour to an hour and a half before bed
