Hello everyone,
My name is Emma, I'm a Television Producer and I wanted to reach out as I'm currently looking for children aged between 10 and 12 years old to take part in a new show for CITV. We are hoping to film the series later in the year but this is subject to change regarding Covid-19 and government guidelines which we are following.
I wanted to post here as I'd like to get the message out to communities who may sometimes miss out on opportunities like this. I would like to cast a diverse range of children and reflect today's society within the show if possible. It would be great to try to reflect children that are often under represented and ultimately, for other children to see them on TV and be able to identify with them. I'm aware that this may not be suitable for all children but it I wanted to give yourselves (parents and legal guardians) the option to share, discuss and potentially encourage your children to give it a go! If your child applied for the show and were then successful in the casting stages we would take advice from Mencap and yourselves as well as looking at making the games within the show more accessible and suitable for them, in order for them to get the same opportunity and experience as other children who may want to take part.

We are looking for children aged 10-12 years old to take part in a brand new immersive game show for CITV.
'Don't Unleash the Beast' is a physical gameshow set in an ancient underground kingdom. Three brave explorers must face a series of impossible challenges in order to rescue the lost treasure. But there’s one BIG problem… a ferocious and foul Beast guards the treasure, they must tread carefully, one wrong move could Unleash the Beast! And that would be BAD, really BAD!
