I always really like this one from Toni Morrison: "If there's a book that you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it." It was meant to inspire writers, but I think it's actually about much more than that :)

What a great post Hidden !

On of my favourite quotes is...

"You cannot stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

(I don't know who said this).

Sometimes it annoys me - I think 'I don't want to surf! I just want the waves to stop!! I want calm water!'

Other times I think 'Mate, just surf'

Love it! Yeah I’m a terrible surfer, but I bet I could paddle on one if I tried 😆 the waves just keep on coming don’t they!?

One of my favourite quotes (which sums up how I feel about this Mencap community) is by William Nicholson from the film Shadowlands:
