i am a carer for my wife who is disabled just been stopped from driving awaiting answer from dvla as i just been told ive got Alzheimer and vascular dementure

thanks very much its hit me very hard being told i have alzimers and vascular demuter and ive had two tias which i think dvla will stop me we had to think again about car motobily have been brilliant told eve to get new car but with hand controls and hoist for scooter

I HAVE A VERY UNDERSTANDING WIFE WHO HELPS ME OUT CONSULATE HAS JUST PUT UP MY MEDICATION TO 10 MG I FORGET WHAT WE ARE HAVING FOR DINNER SOMETIMES ASK MY WIFE SEVERAL TIMES AS I DO ALL COOKING SOMETIMES SHE ASK FOR TEA AND I MAKE COFFEE STILL NOT HEARD FROM DVLA GETTING ME UP TIGHT SO DR ON WEDNESDAY TOOK MY PUSLE AND HAD A CHAT ABOUT THINGS GOT TO SEE AGAIN IN MONTHS TIME

have now got my licence back for one yr then assessed so nurse this week passed my assessment with flying colours see in 6 month time

we now have a motobilty car that has been addapted for my wfe to drive if i get worse we are hoping to move nearer to my wifes family as ive not got any family i can drive car with the addaptions as well medication seems to be doing ok
