Turmeric has some anti-inflammatory properties, but it is no magic wonder drug. You won't hurt yourself by using it, and it may have some overall healthy effect, but you cannot eat enough of it to effectively treat cancer in any measurable way.
Anyone who is touting ANY herb as a cure or even as a stand-alone treatment for cancer is pushing quackery. If these things worked, they would be standard medicine. However, incorporating some of them into a balanced diet may be beneficial for some patients. DO NOT take any bioactive herbs without consulting your oncologist, however, as some actually may interfere with the medications you are taking. For the vast majority of them, however, there should be little or no issue.
