What is your connection with lung cancer?
I am a 7 year survivor.
I was a caregiver for my father-in-law and I am a nurse.

Lost my Mother and my brother. Mother died in '89, my brother 2 days before my diagnosis in 2013.

Just entering my 1st year of survivorship. Still a lot going on.
I was diagnosed in 2009. Designated N.E.D. In June 2010.
On March 11th 2017 l was diagnosed with lung cancer, since then l had surgery and they removed every bit of that dreaded disease and did three months of chemo as a precautionary measures and they also during the surgery they removed a 1/3 of my upper right lung!!!
Diagnosed June 2016. Had left lung lobectomy July, 2016. Seen oncologist today and sending me for Pet Scan next week.....sooo yeah anxiety going on. Always hoping for the best in Jesus name. And i know the good people of this community will pray for me can't help feeling sad though😢....thank you dear friends🙏🌷

Had lobectomy in 2012 for stage 2 lung cancer. Have been on Tarceva since March 2016 for stage 4 lung cancer that has metastasized to pleural lining. NED recently but still on Tarceva
I have small cell lung cancer going on into the 3rd year. Have had chemotherapy and radiation. I am currently being treated with immunotherapy. The treatment is Keytruda. Have been on it for a little over a year. Can't wait till I go into remission. It looks good for now.
I am going into my 2nd year of no evidence of disease.
