I do all of the above, but ultimately I want a dialogue of my personal situation and treatment options to consider risk vs. benefit for me .

I probably use all of the various avenues mentioned, however I find it best to talk directly with my doctor after first telling them all to be honest, upfront and not to sugar coat things.
