Hello Dorsey :-)

I think when we have Health anxiety we are so tuned into our bodies and sensations we feel and so sensitive to them to and that is way we pick up on things like the feeling you are getting , I know I pick up on the slightest thing

Hope you have a nice weekend :-)

Take Care x

At the height of my anxiety there was a day where it felt like I was walking on a trampoline...like the floor was literally bouncing and I had half full bags of water wrapped around my legs, sloshing around with every step. I kept "testing" myself and would get up and walk up and down to see if it was still there, and couldn't get my mind in gear to start the workday. I was terrified. It wasn't until later in the morning when I finally had to focus on work, that I got up to walk to a patient's room and I noticed the feeling vanished. It didn't return until a couple hours later when I started thinking about it again. I have had many symptoms that have since vanished once I stopped paying attention. The funny thing is, the second I come to that realization and "test" myself, the symptom returns! Try giving yourself a couple days vacation from your sudden confusion/sticking foot symptom and see what happens. Whenever it happens, tell yourself it's due to anxiety. If something sinister is causing it then surely 2-3 days of ignoring the problem won't make any difference medically, and if it's there due to hypervigilance then ignoring it and focusing your attention outward should cause it to fade away. The "take a vacation" mentality was the only thing that worked for me and I haven't had anxiety or the scary symptoms in weeks😀
