I allow the feeling of anxiety to pass because i know what causes anxiety

What would you say causes your anxiety?

anxiety is a label for a feeling that is only caused by one thing. I used to suffer with it, along with depression and severe stress. Understanding where it is created is key.

A cluster of people, a new place, being outside alone, these cause me the greatest anxiety. I know the cause, but developed workarounds for them. For example: I did a lot of public speaking in my career. People and new places had to be dealt with. I'd meet the organizer (who had met me in my office to discuss issues) a half hour before the engagement and we'd walk around the venue. Now the place was mine. It was not 'new'. Then, I'd stand at the door and greet most of the attendees. Now they were my 'guests' in my 'home'. I had no stage fright. I was talking to friends in my home! I loved it! My fear was still there, I didn't find a solution for that, but in this moment, it was gone! Mission accomplished!

Medication and meditation and deep breathing and trying to learn not to react and just to accept it.
