Please feel free to use one word of your own if it better describes how your anxiety makes you feel :-) x

Hi there ,~ and welcome!! Hope you are having a good weekend 🙂

Morning lulu ~ I have put nightmare as my response. But I also find Anxiety very Draining ~ just seems to suck the life out of me leaving me feeling tired and weak. When ever I have an episode of panic all I want to do is lie down.

It would be so lovely for all of us to be Anxiety free ~ let's hope one day??? 🙂xx

Hello Hidden :-)

I could have chosen all the words and maybe more that members will suggest , I narrowed it down to debilitating in the end as no matter what part of my anxiety is playing up it all feels so debilitating and stops me doing things

I can totally agree with feeling drained :-)

Thank you for your reply :-) x

Yes there are so many words to describe anxiety and none of them pleasant tbh. You couldn't list them all.Just wish Mr Anxiety would let us live our lives in peace tbh. Not too much to ask is it??

Wishing you well today 🙂🙂xx

Too true !! Anxiety just doesn't want us to be happy at all.Rejoices in all the negatives that make us unhappy 🙂

That was very difficult to pick just one because when it's bad all of them can apply

Hello Cleaner :-)

I agree that all the choices I could have selected in one way or another

I went for debilitating as no matter what my anxiety is focusing on it is debilitating

Nice to see you and I hope you are keeping as well as you can be :-)

Thank you for your reply :-) x

Hi lulu sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! I look forward to your post but I've been really down for a while! Can't sleep and it's getting to be a real problem any ideas diazepam doesn't even help? Thank you for any help you can give david

in reply toCeltic27

Hello Celtic27 :-)

Have you seen on weekly check in post on the Community , if you have I bet putting this question on the post might get you some good suggestions :-)

I am sorry you have been struggling with sleeping there is nothing worse :-(

If Diazepam are not working well I am a bit lost

But you could try and make sure you don't sleep in the day ( that is if you do )

Take warm bath before bed

Maybe listen to some soothing music or meditation before bed :-)

I never have a set bed time but always go to bed when I am tired or other wise I would struggle to sleep

If it continues though have a word with your Doctor there could be something else they could prescribe to help :-)

Let us know how you get on :-) x
