Good idea to do the survey. I'm currently doing the SIBO diet after testing positive for it a few months ago. I also tested positive for Hypothyroidism. More and more research is showing a strong connection between the gut and the brain and our diet.

Hello :-)

I think personally there is a connection between the gut and our brains

So many with anxiety suffer with digestive problems

I hope the diet you are on helps and you will have to let us know :-) x

Yes, it does also lead to the question of which came first, the anxiety or the digestive issues, not that it matters in healing. The good thing is that it means there is something real and tangible going on and it's not "all in our head", especially for those with health anxiety.

I find Anxiety triggers off my IBS .Which leads me to feel run down and tired also. Hope everyone is having a peaceful wknd😊x

I have had a bad few days and am going to see the doctor this week to see if he has any ideas. I also go to listen to the 6 year olds reading at the school and that helps.Thank you for asking.

My anxiety is connected with irregular heartbeat, SVT and AF. The anxiety stops me from getting enough sleep to live a reasonable life, which is so frustrating. Though I retired many years ago, I still do a bit of teaching which I love. My Partner died from cancer 6 months ago and I'm getting nowhere with "moving forward". I'm still on a waiting list for counselling. Sometimes these things are calming: Radio, TV, Music.

Hello :-)

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Husband , such a big loss will take time and even though you feel you are not moving forward you will be it can be a slow process , give yourself time as much time as you need :-)

I am glad you still do a bit of teaching especially as you love it so much :-)

Irregular heartbeat seems to be again something anxiety sufferers seem to suffer with and lack of sleep makes everything so much worse , sometimes it can feel we are on a merry go round with it all but hopefully when you get to the top of that list the Counselling will help you to get of and life will improve :-)

Come and talk to us when you need a listening ear :-)

Thank you for your input on the poll :-) x
