Does anyone have any stories they would be willing to tell about when they were tested, and how you felt leading up to and after getting tested?

Mines was a horrible situation that transpired because of my Family. To much to type right now but I will tomorrow. I have to get up early, but i don't mind sharing it

Thank you for being willing to share your story with the community I am sure there are others on here that have gone through something and with you being willing to share could help give them strength.

When I tested positive, I thought I had strep throat, because everytime I tried to eat it frlt like I was swallowing glass. So, HIV really wasnt on my mind. I had originally just wanted to get a thoat swab, bit since I was at the doctor I thought I might as well get an HiV test too, since It was going on three months since my last one. I felt alright because I didnt think I was going to test positive, especially after my thoat thing went away after a round of peniclin. However, when I got a call back from the doctor a week later I was crushed.
