Hi and welcome to LA. I run a newly diagnosed group in Long Beach, but I know there's also one up in LA. Down in my area there's also a poz Meet up group. Another option is something called the life group which does something called the Poz Life Seminar. All of these can be ways of meeting groups of guys dealing with similar situations.

We meet at 7:00 pm every Friday at The LGBTQ Center of Long Beach, on 4th Street near Cherry Ave., next to the Art Theater. I send out a weekly reminder about the group, and pass along info on poz social events, scientific advances, and whatever I think may be of interest.
