If I'm tired I sometimes get aching muscles and extra tightness. Generally speaking I just go through it - sometimes I use a hot water bottle. I don't know any other way of dealing with it other than gritting your teeth. I have recently heard of Baclofen, but I'm already on anti-epilepsy drugs and enough is enough, Does anyone have more proactive ways of dealing with it?

baclofen has worked in conjunction with other things including painkiller. Heat pads work. I'm not a big fan of TENS but it can work for some people. I've used anti epilepsy drugs such as gabapentin and pregablin however side effects are not great. They slow down brain signals so change the way a person perceives pain. I like swimming and try to keep as active as I can.

I use baclofen, which really works for me. Before I started using it, I found hot baths helped as did massage and stretching regularly.
