Did you know we are running the first ever major survey of UK Lipoedema patients?

The survey asks questions about your experiences of living with Lipoedema and, amongst the things we are especially keen to know, is whether you received your diagnosis from your GP or, if your GP failed to diagnose you, who did? We also want to know what other medical conditions you suffer from that may be related to Lipoedema; what if any diet or exercise programmes you have found helpful or unhelpful; when your lipoedema symptoms started, and how it affects your day to day life.

We firmly believe our research will help change attitudes amongst the medical profession and promote speedier diagnoses and much better treatment in future. To take part, drop us an email at info@lipoedema.co.uk

I went to hospital over 6 years ago. The emergency doctor said I had fluid in my knee!

I said no my legs are always like that. He disregarded what I said. He got a huge kneedl the fluid frm my leg. I just shook my head. to draine.

He was shocked that it was just dry air. Gave me paracetamol, and sent me home. He had no idea. He didnt want to deal with me, as he had nobody else on in the middle of the night.

What a disgrace, so that was years ago. I know dont go out anywhere. I suffer in silence with other medicle problems!
