Hi there I am in Ireland and have had cervical cancer 12 years ago, 2 years ago I developed Lymphodema after a cut to my leg. I work in the manufacturing industry and are required to wear safety shoes.
Does anyone also need these and if so where do they get them.

Hi! Sorry about your trouble, I hope that you are fine now.
I think you can find safety shoes online for a decent prize but maybe your employer has specific requirements and may have recommendations?
Otherwise, I have found wearing flat-knit compression tights has helped a lot when standing up a lot at work – I do not know if you wear these as well?
Some time places like Aldi or Lidle do them when they have their special offers. when I used to have to wear them I firstly wore Dr Martin shoes as these had a steel toe cap, and then found some lightweight ones on a trip to USA. otherwise shops like B andQ have work wear ones that may be suitable.
