I started trying to get diagnosed when I was 14. It took me until I was 19 and I was extremely tenacious and had to see Professor Mortimer in London privately to get diagnosed.

Misdiagnosis included: being overweight (at 17, BMI around 17), thrombosis, cardiac insufficiency, lymphoedema, etc.
