Hi all,

This week our campaigns team have launched our #WatchWaitWorry campaign at the British Society of Haematology which is being in Liverpool this week.

The campaign aims to improve the support offered to patients who have CLL and who are living with watch and wait.

The team have written a report, as well as supportive guidelines for patients.

You can find out more on the campaign webpage here: leukaemiacare.org.uk/get-in...

You are concentrating on patients with CLL but patients like me with CMML are also on watch and wait and suffer the same uncertainties and worries so don't forget us even if we are a minority group.

Hello mrew thank you for your post. Yes, this particular aspect of the campaign has resulted in the publishong of a CLL specific W&W report and Living well guide. This particular data collection has clearly evidenced the scale of the unmet clinical need and this extends across all other blood cancer patients living on W&W. Much of the guide's content is helpful to other types of Watch and Wait patient.

During the campaign Leukaemia Care with other charities supporting the W&W community and the clinical specialist community have formed a writing group that will create clinical supportive care guidance aimed at providing apropriate clinical care for all on Watch and Wait. We will translate the clinical version into a broader 'live well' patient guide.

The launch Monday at the British Society for Haematology conference, was a powerful first step . We have a lot of support across the specialist haematology community with this.

Nick
