Toe nails?

Is there a connection between the kidneys and toe nails? My large nails have stopped growing, not grown at all for six months plus. Also yellow and brittle,hard and thick.

Thanks . I have been told my kidneys are fine. and I am a healthy eater and slim. Think the toe nails are fungal seeing as they are bad and then suddenly change to good - organs dont suddenly mend themselves and become good over night.

Sounds like a fungal infection in the nail
