I'm so sorry to hear this, love. :( This is what I've just shared on another thread. If a mc happens during the first trimester of pregnancy, it's usually caused by problems with the foetus. About 3 in every 4 miscarriages is said to happen during this period.

If a mc happens after the first trimester of pregnancy, it may be the result of underlying health condition in the mother. These late miscarriages may also be caused by an infection around the baby. It leads to the bag of waters breaking before any pain or bleeding. Sometimes they can be caused by the neck of the womb opening too soon. They say, the most miscarriages are a one-off event. I've been prego just once in my life. We also had to terminate it....Because I've always suffered severe heart disease. So when time came and we got prego after ttc for 3yrs dr told dh straight into his face - they had to decide: me or the baby..The worst scenario was both..So we had it terminated which caused me complete and overall heartbreak I thought I'd never be able to move through..We found peace through surrogacy..

Oh dear..I'm so sad you've been through this awful experience. I faced the same heartbreak some time ago. This was our round #2 ivf with donor egg! YEp, this was att with DE!! (might sound weird, as DE are aimed to be of the best quality!! But this didn't happen..). Some of my background: me - ripe age, dh's the same. He had low sperm count and motility. Me - severe endo sufferer. 10 yrs married. 2 yrs ttc. Passed several rounds IUI, 2 ICSIs. Then turned to donor eggs abroad. Round#1 - bfn. Round #2 - early mc. Round #3 - successful.

You'll need time to heal emotionally and physically, luv. This is how it goes. Since now I'm keeping you in my prayers. Xx

Hugs to you for your loss and suffering! I totally agree with you... she needs to replenish the feel of lost and get better emotionally. Only then she can and probably should resume her TTC. I think it's most important to really have focus and faith when on TTC ... that's a only way to move towards success.

I think girls experiencing the case will give more thoughts on this very matter. For us the situation was the following. We had to use donor egg for IVF and decided to apply for the treatment overseas - went to overseas clinic. Every DE program includes specific items into the package price. For ex. our 5 shots DE program package covered the price of the meds needed for the protocol. And that was the great relief for us as we didn't have to care where to buy them and for what cost. I guess there are places offering attractive programs for your case also. Just don't make haste decisions, take time for the research work. Good luck x

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss... it's really something you cannot cope easily with. However, I'd say time will definitely help you live with it ... wouldn't say it will heal because it never really heals. Hugs for you! I've been through the same hell and couldn't connect or open up or even cry out the grief for long while. Get back on TTC once you're better again... wish you luck!

OMG, I'm so sorry you're facing this..Unfortunately, the causes cannot be so easily determined..Even dr might not tell you exactly why it happened.. ( Whether it's the lining issue or the embryo quality. Or meds not enough in dosages. Or any other factor - this is always hard to overcome the pain.. I'll be praying for you. ❤️❤️

Unfortunately, there are many reasons why a miscarriage may happen. Although the cause is often not identified. I did research on this point.~~ If a miscarriage happens during the 1st trimester of pregnancy, it's usually caused by problems with the foetus. About 3 in every 4 miscarriages happen during this period..This statistics is very sad indeed, our tiny beans face the hugest issues during this very period of time. If a miscarriage happens after the first trimester of pregnancy, it may be the result of things like an underlying health condition in the mother.

Late miscarriages may also be caused by an infection around the baby. This usually leads to the bag of waters breaking before any pain or bleeding. Sometimes they can be caused by the neck of the womb opening too soon.

I personally like the way nhs.uk explains this. 'First trimester miscarriages are often caused by problems with the chromosomes of the foetus. Chromosome problems - Chromosomes are blocks of DNA. They contain a detailed set of instructions that control a wide range of factors, from how the cells of the body develop to what colour eyes a baby will have. Sometimes something can go wrong at the point of conception and the foetus receives too many or not enough chromosomes. The reasons for this are often unclear, but it means the foetus won't be able to develop normally, resulting in a miscarriage. This is very unlikely to recur. It doesn't necessarily mean there's any problem with you or your partner. Placental problems. The placenta is the organ linking the mother's blood supply to her baby's. If there's a problem with the development of the placenta, it can also lead to a miscarriage.

Several long-term (chronic) health conditions can increase your risk of having a miscarriage in the second trimester, especially if they’re not treated or well controlled.. Infections. Food poisoning. Medicines (Medicines that increase your risk include: misoprostol – used for conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis

retinoids – used for eczema and acne. methotrexate – used for conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis.

non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) – such as ibuprofen; these are used for pain and inflammation. To be sure a medicine is safe in pregnancy, always check with your doctor, midwife or pharmacist before taking it.). Womb structure. Weakened cervix. PCOS, others..It's a heartbreaking experience, but we have to overcome it somehow and keep on moving to our aims. All my thoughts going your way, hugs xx
