I did take that path as well. I have literally tried everything. Nothing is working for me. However, I have heard that herbal treatments work the best for endometriosis patients. I have also watched a lot of success stories on them. For me however, they didn't work and I suffer from unexplained infertility. If you do try them do let me know if they worked. Best of luck with it.
Well I know the jubject more theoretically. The effects of herbal medicines are generally cumulative. This means the clinical effects of treating the infertile couple can be usually seen after 60-120 days. Herbs are also cycle-dependent.
One of the purposes of prescribing herbal medicines is to increase ovarian function. Therefore, those who are taking birth control pills like Cetrotide or Lupron should not take herbs!! Because they are used to impede or lessen ovarian function. They have the opposite desired effect of herbs. Also another thing with herbs. For example, a woman decides to have ivf. Ivf transfer is within a week. So she should avoid herbal treatment.
In general, it is known herbals may be useful when treating any type of infertility condition. This includes luteal-phase-defect, premature ovarian failure, male factor, or unexplained symptoms. But your doc is always the one to advice for your particular case. Good luck!
