Come and Say Hello - 10 June 2017, Huntingdon, Cambs!

HCCN will be attending the Huntingdon Riverside Gala on Saturday, 10 June 2017, from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm. Come and say hello and if you would like to support us we have a children's game, a raffle and a cake stall. The gala is located in the middle of Huntingdon, just off the inner ring road and as the name suggests, next to the river. See you there and fingers crossed for a summers day.

What a fun day we had and how generous the public supporting our local cancer nurses and charity. Thank you to everyone who made the day work so well for us. I feel just a bit guilty about all the cake the people of Huntingdon must have consumed last night but it was really scrummy and all donated to us to raise money to support our many activities all of which are focused at helping people manage a diagnosis of cancer.

And the sun shone and the wind stayed gentle for most of the day.

It was a great opportunity to explain to people how and where we work and what that means to people in Huntingdonshire who may have to face a diagnosis of cancer.
