What is the most common misconception about hepatitis C held by people you've met? Did you try to correct it? If so, what did you say/do?

Many people think they were immunized as a child or teenager against hepatitis C. I tell them that could have been a hepatitis A or B shot, but no immunization is available yet for hepatitis C.
One of the most frequent questions I've been asked even by heath care workers. "where did you get that". I do try to explain stating all possible ways I could have caught Hepatitis c ending with the most likely ( lack of good judgement 42 years ago). While getting an ultra sound the tech told me I could also get it from sharing a cup with someone that was infected.
