Sorry to say I was out of town, but I know there were 11 great events during World Hepatitis "Week" in British Columbia!

I attended in Castlegar BC where I was able to attend with my wife. We saw the presentation of "Deal With It" which is eye opening to say the least. I'm in week 3 of treatment on Peginterferon/ribavirin and although my treatment hasn't gone without side effects, I feel fortunate that they aren't as bad as I had feared. Seeing what others have had to contend with in this treatment as described in the documentary leaves me feeling lucky. So far so good...

At least this horrid disease thankfully can be treated albeit with side effects in this day and age.

This disease is horrible, albeit there is treatment but stigma is still there, it can dehabilltate a person.
