Successful HCV Treatments May Lower Health Care Costs

A study done in the UK has found that patients who have been successfully treated for HCV/HIV co-infection had significantly lower health care costs than those who failed treatments five years later. Failure of treatments for the co-infection were associated with much higher health care use costs.
