Building Local Health Department Capacity to Support HCV Screening and Linkage to Care

The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) is pleased to offer a funding opportunity for a consultant to assist in supporting and promoting the local health department role in hepatitis C virus (HCV) screening and linkage to care.

The consultant will serve as a subject matter expert for a NACCHO project aimed at increasing local health department awareness and knowledge of HCV screening and linkage to care strategies, practices, and policies.

The project will focus on the role that local health departments can or should play in assuring or directly providing these services and providing local health departments with tools, resources, and educational information to support their efforts.

Approximately $15,000 is available for this opportunity. Proposals must be submitted by June 15, 2015 at 11:59 PM EST. A selection will be made by June 30.

The period of consultation will run from the date of contract execution to December 31, 2015. All necessary information regarding the project and proposal process may be found in the Request for Proposals.

Applicants may pose questions to NACCHO by contacting Hilary McQuie, Senior Program Analyst for HIV, STI, & Viral Hepatitis at hmcquie@naccho.org or 202-595-1123.
