Hello there.i was on mavyret for 8 weeks.the treatment was successful.i was cured!!i had type 1a..i'am so relieved now since i used to be very exhausted before treatment.i took my meds with food at the same time everyday.it is 3 pills at one time.my labs came back undetected at 4 weeks but i could have cleared it earlier than that.i was fortunate that i could get treated.treatment healed me.i grew closer to God because if it wasn't for him guiding me in the right direction who knows where i'd be!over all during treatment for me there wasn't many side effects..sometimes i'd have nausea and gas.other than that not much i noticed.i went to the doctor last week and he said i'm cured..no cirrohsis either.yes i'm blessed and so are you!;)

Excellent, was this the first course of medication you’ve had or have you had others ?

I had a course here in the U.K. the initial blood test results (first test two weeks after commencement) where so good three doctors called me from the clinic, unbeknownst to each other congratulated me on this yet before unseen, (to them at least) such a quick response,

Alas however after returning to Australia tests there showed a return of the dreaded plague and I was given a somewhat different concoction which then cleared it .

They still periodically test for it , so I assume that “cure” is a “as far as we know”

Apologies if that rains on any parades

I’ve certainly noticed I’ve far more energy since “cure”

I’d look forward to finishing work not to go out socialising but to sleep at least a couple of hours before dinner (sometimes not bothering with dinner and sleeping the clock through, wasted times)

I was undiagnosed for years ,

I also had geno 1a (evil thing)

Well done!

Barry
