Hi everyone I’ve posted in thyroid but I want everyone to know before you start on treatment check how far damage your liver is as for me back in March I had a ultrasound which stated I had fatty liver so I started in may with the treatment and after I was done I had labs and it showed not detected of the hep c so I was happy for that last week had another ultrasound at the hospital and got my results yesterday I’m am so sad because now there saying I have Cirrhosis I just know that the harvoni had made it worse now I wish I never taken it I read from other sites where people had the same thing happened to them I never had any issues with my fatty liver so now have to see a GI doctor I don’t know how long I have on this earth but it broke my heart to know this so if anyone is thinking of doing the harvoni please have them do a ultrasound and if your not having issues why do it Thanks for reading this.

I was lucky, I had no fatty tissue when I had my Hepatitis C diagnosed. I just had chronic fatigue. I was also diagnosed with HIV although the Hepatitis C seemed to have been around first.

I was prescribed Havroni a year after my diagnosis. And it cleared my infection in 2 weeks. Although I had to complete the full 8 week course of treatment.

I have subsequently had scans on my liver, and not had any detrimental effects on the quality of it. And still have no scaring or fatty tissues.

I would advise everyone to discuss fully with their consultants about the various treatment options. All that I know is that Havroni has been a godsend to me. Especially as I have so many other issues effect my body.
