I have been sent basic general information from the hospital and there arr some leaflets at the doctors practice.

These dont give any in depth specifics. For that i use google. This brings up NHS sites American health sites, and numerous other sites.

For specifics like genotypes and treatments i just google my question then follow any links.

What would we have done pre-GOOGLE?

I did lots of reading when first diagnosed and gleaned lots of information online in this way.

Theres a lot more info out there now than 15 years ago when i was first diagnosed.
