I was informed a lil bit ago that the man i have been sleeping with off and on for last few yrs was told he has hep c. Should i be texted now too

Yes yes and yes. Sooner u find out if u have it the sooner the treatment starts. We were told that once damage to his liver starts that he wont be able to have treatment

Yes but it doesn't mean you automatically get infected just through sex. My husband was tested all clear.

Transmission of hep c is rare through sex, I had the virus for 43 years and did not pass it to my 3 long term partners,so don't worry too much! Do, of course get tested!
