Dear Hamish

While I had, and still have, great reduction in A/Fib by taking Bisoprolol, I would heed what your doctor says. Another aspect of me is I like experimenting, so I would be willing to give what your doctor recommends a try.

I think we're all different but when I stopped Bisoprolol and took Dilitiazam instead, by day 3 I had a pulse of 142 when I visited my GP with a lot of irregularity and felt rubbish. GP said "it's not doing anything, go back on the Bisoprolol immediately". I take 2.5mg every 12 hours which keeps me pretty much symptom free, though I add an extra dose, taking it up to 7.5mg like you, if irregularity and Fibrillation "bops" occur. I also take magnesium malate, (allergy research is my favourite. I have chronic fatigue and fibro too). Also taurate, citrate, threonate and orotate. (Autoimmune Institute). I think this helps a lot.
